Rajon Rondo is an American professional basketball player who led the Boston Celtics to the 2008 NBA tournament. He began his professional career with the Boston Celtics, playing as the team's third-tier goalkeepers. Although he was initially criticized by his coach for his stubbornness, he eventually proved his worth and did well enough to make the NBA All-Rookie second team. He became very popular and popular following the Celtics' victory in the 2008 NBA Championship. Now ranked among the stars of his teammates, he has continued to show his ingenuity on the pitch in the years to make the Celtics one of the most feared teams in the NBA. Rondo's interest in sports dates back to his childhood. At first he was interested in football and baseball, eventually changing his focus to basketball while attending Eastern High School. He soon proved to be a very talented basketball player and was named the 2004 McDonald's All-American. After joining the University of Kentucky, he led his college team to several victories and set a Kentucky record for most steals at once. He eventually began his professional basketball career with the Boston Celtics after graduation. In 2014, he was sold to Dallas Mavericks where he continues to offer the game his best.
