Albert Schweitzer was a German theologian by birth, biologist, philosopher, physician and medical messenger. He founded Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Lambaréné, now in Gabon, West Africa (then France Equatorial Africa). Schweitzer is best known as a musician and songwriter and former deep student of German composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Many of his Bach records are currently available on CD. He started and made a significant contribution to the Organ of the Organization. Schweitzer was the founder of a universal ethical philosophy. He is best known for challenging the world's view of Jesus with a reflection of the historical context of his day in certain academic circles, as well as the traditional Christian view, which portrays Jesus Christ as the Messiah who saves the world. He won the 1952 Nobel Peace Prize for his philosophy of “Respect for Life”. Many films are made about the life of Albert Schweitzer.
