He became a household name with the success of a book that led to the management of television programs. The popularity of the show, led to the show 'Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations' on Discovery Traveling and Living Channel. He has also been a judge in a real competition for cookery competition, ‘Top Chef’ for several seasons, where he judged the piece on strange ingredients like alligator, aloe vera and eel. The world-famous chef was different from other well-known chefs who were well-dressed, cheerful, and polite - instead, they were alert and free to use offensive language. He drank heavily and smoked and did not bother with his previous addiction to cocaine, heroin and cannabis. The brave chef also debated the public criticism of well-known chefs such as Paula Deen, Sandra Lee and Alice Waters. He was also known for his negative comments about vegetarianism and veganism.
