Gabby Wiest [real name Eva Ambros Wiest] a Filipina by birth, grew up in Quezon City, Philippines. Married to Reg Wiest, writer/photographer, Canadian. She worked in Taiwan and Hongkong as overseas contract worker. She wrote poetry to ease her loneliness during all those years she worked in other countries. She is a member of Allpoetry.com, a huge organization for poets. In December 2019 her poem Darkness is Me was selected to be published in International Poetry Digest. Her first book Broken Pieces was published in November 2019 on amazon, followed by Love Letters, published in December 2019.
