When you play, of course you want to win, but the most important thing about pre-season is improving your fitness.

It is clear that Barca are the best team in the world, and can call on the best players in the world, but we will only achieve something if we are convinced we can do it. We must only think of giving our all.

It is an honour for me that Mainz gives me the opportunity to prove myself in another top European league.

Stoke City gave me the opportunity to play in the most competitive league in the world, and I have only words of gratitude for their trust and for the way they have treated me.

Mark Hughes convinced me to come to Stoke, he has helped me and showed his trust in me from the beginning.

One of the factors that has helped me to reach 100 games was not to lose hope.

This is football, things can change very fast. Let's be clear about it though: I will not be used as change to facilitate someone else's transfer.

It is my goal to stay with Barcelona for a long time and be successful here.

Step by step I'm getting my opportunities and what's important for me is to be prepared to show my best whenever possible.

It's not good for anybody if they're out of a team. No one is happy when they're not playing but the most important thing in that situation is to be strong and to work hard.

I've been doing extra work but I always do. I want to feel at my best and I want to be ready when the gaffer gives me the chance.

My years at Barcelona are a big help. I spent four dream years there.

I didn't play much for Roma and arriving here at Milan is a step forward for me.

The No. 9, a team's centre forward, is a number that means a lot and, God willing, I hope to inherit it some day.

My only hope is to see more frequent game time and even play alongside Ibrahimovic. We have two different styles and we can complement each other well.

But I think that if a club like Barcelona sign a player, it is because he has the right qualities.

Barca have given me everything, and I feel at home here.

Feelings are above money.

Eventually, when I retire, I can say I've played at the Britannia Stadium on a Wednesday at 7 P. M. in the cold and wind.

You do not always have to play in the Camp Nous and the Old Traffords and with pleasant climates. It's different experiences that you take in... that's also a part of football.

I've learned that the most important thing in football when finish a race are the experiences.

I still feel it was a privilege to be a part of this team the past years, that I helped make Barca the best team in the world.

I hope my role is an important one at Roma.

There's not a single club out there that can compete with Barcelona.

I miss everything that surrounds the club. I miss my colleagues, my friends and everyone who cares for Barcelona.

The group of players that you see in the Barca dressing room is unique. There are a lot of homegrown players and others who really care for Barcelona a lot as well.

I am very happy and satisfied with my first year in Italy.

I am flattered Serbia are interested in me and for the great effort they are making. But I am Spanish and my desire is to play for Spain.

I was looking to be in a club where you feel the love, a family where everyone is fighting for the same thing. I'm like that as a person.

When I decide to do things in my life, it's because I feel it.

I am super happy to have finally scored in the Bundesliga. That makes me proud.

I made my debut very early and a lot of things happened to me at a young age, but I was there for the best time in Barcelona's history and played with the best players in the world.

Being a home-grown player, I achieved what I set out to do by playing and scoring for Barca. I consider I was a success.

I like to get the ball on the ground, make good plays and move the ball around the pitch quickly at a good tempo.

I like to play as a striker or secondary striker.

I am a striker or at least a playmaker behind the front man, certainly not a wide man. But with Rome and Milan, I was only playing on the wings.

My mission is to be kept on by Milan. Nobody wants to stay with the Rossoneri for only for one season.

I miss scoring lots of goals, but I have always thought that a striker should not be judged just by the amount of goals he scores. The work he does for the team is also important.

Messi scores three goals every game. If you score one goal, you're not Messi.

I thank God for having played for four years in the best Barcelona team in history, but playing in the Premier League is also very important.

I started very young and it is not easy to get to grips what I achieved at the age of 17.

One thing I've been taught from young is that you have to work hard, turn up to extra training sessions, etc.

My target is enjoying and proving to myself that I am progressing.

The footballer's career is very long and staying on the top for many years is always very difficult.

I chose Milan for many reasons. It is a great club and the team is made of an historic group of players.
