Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Born in 1926, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross wanted to become a doctor but her father forbade that. She left home at age 16, was a hospital volunteer in WWII and last entered medical school in 1951. She learned about sickness, and published her 1969 book On Death and Dying in 1969. , negotiation, disappointment and acceptance.
