Confucius, also known as Kong Qui or K'ung Fu-tzu, was a Chinese philosopher, teacher, and politician. His teachings, preserved in Analects, focus on developing models of behavior through family and community interaction and setting standards for learning. After his death, Confucius became the official philosopher of China, which had a great influence during the reigns of Han, Tang and Long.
