Keith David is a leading African and American film, television and voice actor. He grew up in New York and decided as a young boy out of 13, that he wanted to be an actor. He has acted in films such as 'Crash', 'Something About Mary', 'Barbershop', and 'Men at Work', as well as cult favorites, including 'The Thing', 'They Are Alive', 'Pitch Black' 'Riddick Chronicles', 'Armageddon', 'Platoon', and 'Dream Application Name'. Though he did not get long roles, he still made them remembered for the splendor of his action. With a deep, commanding voice, he made a picture for himself as a joke. He has received Emmy Awards as the manager of several Ken Burns films, including 'War'. He gave his voice to Goliath in the Disney series 'Gargoyles', Spawn / Al Simmons in Todd McFarlane's 'Spawn', Drs. Facilier in 'Princess and Frog', and in many game and commerce characters. As a stage actor, he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in Musical for his role in Broadway play, 'Jelly's Last Jam'.
