Our goal was to win, to win a Super Bowl, but also to win in the right way, to be role models to our community, to represent Indianapolis, the state of Indiana and the National Football League.

There is no final victory, as there is no final defeat. There is just the same battle. To be fought, over and over again. So toughen up, bloody toughen up.

Success in life is to maintain this ecstasy, to burn always with this hard gemlike flame.

When you become successful in any type of life, there are people who are not contributing to the motion.

I'm a pretty good winner. I'm a terrible loser. And I rub it in pretty good when I win.

The logic of worldly success rests on a fallacy: the strange error that our perfection depends on the thoughts and opinions and applause of other men!

A man who fails well is greater than one who succeeds badly.

Intent is guilt. Failure to successfully carry out the intent does not absolve the guilt.

I am dead. Only vengeance can restore me! Only victory can return my life to me!

I'm happy to be on a winning team. My individual success, that lasts for a short period of time.
