Mercury was a singer,record producer,songwriter, rock band Queen's lead vocalist, and musician whose music topped the American and British charts in the 1970s and 1980s. As the Queen's front, Mercury Rock was one of the most talented and modern singers of all time. Mercury studied piano at a boarding school in India, then befriended several musicians at the Ealing College of Art in London. Mercury died on November 24, 1991 at the age of 45 from AIDS-related bronchial pneumonia.
Mercury, real name was Farrokh Bulsara,bornon 5 September 1946in Zanzibar. Twenty-five years later in London, under the name Freddie Mercury, he was confronting the now legendary rock group in the name of the Queen. Freddie, the son of Bomi and Jair Balsara, spent most of his childhood in India, where he attended St. Peter's Boarding School. He started taking piano lessons at the age of seven. No one knew where the love of music would take him.
The rest is rock history. EMI Records and Electra Records signed the band and their first album, Queen, was released in 1973, calling it one of the most exciting developments in rock music to date.
A single 'Bohemian Rhapsody', styled with immortal style, was released in 1975 and topped the UK charts for nine weeks. Signs of his extraordinary success continued around the world in the 80's, which came to light in 1985 with his unforgettable performance on stage in his show on stage at live ad.
During 1986-87, Mercury was diagnosed with AIDS, and his health began to decline. Meanwhile, Hutton and Mercury's ex-girlfriend Mary took care of him. Freddie Mercury died on November 24, 1991, from AIDS and bronchial pneumonia. Three days later, his last rites were performed according to Parsi traditions.. The service was attended by all members of his band, as well as other close members and friends, including singer Elton John.
