Richard Bach David is an American author born in 1936. He graduated from Long Beach in 1955. As soon as she finished school she joined the navy and the national security system. Also, he became a pilot in the Fighter squadron USAF. After being part of the military he started his writing career and his first three books were about flying and that was a reflection of his love for airplanes. They are called "Stranger on the ground, Biplane" and "Nothing by accident". His book Jonathan Livingstone Seagull was published in 1970 and made him famous. The book contained a very accurate and surprising description of the flight of seabirds. The book sold for more than 1.000.000 copies. For Bach to fly is a way of life and a life to seek, to constantly learn, to rediscover what people know but have forgotten.
