Markus Zusak

Markus Zusak was born in 1975, the last of four children born to German and immigrant parents. Markus studied teaching at a university and received teaching experience in high school. Marcus started writing at the age of sixteen, and completed his first (unpublished) manuscript at the age of eighteen. While his writing may seem like a great fit for young adults, he hopes readers of all ages can find meaning in his work. Markus Zusak lives in New South Wales, Australia.
