Born in Tennessee in 1963, Quentin Tarantino moved to California at the age of 4. His love of movies led him to work at a video store, at which point he wrote True Romance and Natural Born Killers. The start of Tarantino's directing came with the Reservoir Dogs of 1992, but he gained critical acclaim and trade with Pulp Fiction (1994), winning the Academy Award for best screenplay. Subsequent features include Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Vol. 2 (2004) and Grindhouse (2007). Tarantino received several awards for Inglourious Basterds (2009) and Django Unchained (2012), the latter won his second Oscar for best performance, and went on to write and direct Hateful Eight (2015) and Once upon a Time. .. eHollywood (2019).
