Rahul Dev is an Indian film actor and former actor. He works extensively in Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu films. He had intended to start acting as a villain in the 1997 film Mukul S. Anand's Dus but the death of the director while the film was being made the film remain incomplete and could not be released. He then made his first appearance in the 2000 film Championship where he played a bad role and where he won the 2001 Filmfare Best Villain Award. Since then he has played villains and supporting roles throughout his films. Rahul Dev's brother Mukur Dev is also an actor in films and television.
