Rhys Ifans (Welsh pronunciation: [r̥ɨːs ˈivans]; born Rhys Owain Evans; 22 July 1967) is a Welsh actor and singer. He is best known for his portrayal of characters such as Spike in Notting Hill, Jed Parry in Enduring Love, and Eyeball Paul in Kevin & Perry Go Large. He is also known as a member of the rock bands Super Furry Animals and The Peth. He played Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, Anonymous. Ifans also has a recurring role as Mycroft Holmes in the CBS Elementary series. Ifans also appeared as Nigel Gruff, a footballer who turned into an American gambling addict, in the 2000 film The Replacements. Since the fall of 2016, Ifans had been accustomed to being made a U.S. citizen.

I've reached a point in my career when I can demand certain conditions, and one of them is a weekend break every three weeks during the shoot.
