Rivaldo Vítor Borba Ferreira is a former Brazilian footballer and sports manager. He is considered one of the most attacking midfielders to ever play football and during his ten years as a soccer player he won many tournaments for both clubs and his country. Rivaldo grew up in Brazil and played football for a few years before moving to Europe with Spanish club Deportivo la Coruna. His silk skills, goal nose and incredible ability to score goals made him successful for example when he moved to Barcelona enjoying one of the best stages of his life as a soccer player. He helped Barcelona win many tournaments and was their main scorer as the team became known for their attacking game. Rivaldo was also an inspiration to the Brazilian national team as he helped them reach the 1998 World Cup final but his biggest victory came four years later when he became one of the team's record-breaking team's 5th World Cup winners. Rivaldo played for AC Milan and was part of their Champions League winning team.
