One of America's foremost scientists, astronomer Neil deGrasse Tyson, has spent most of his time sharing his knowledge with others. He has a great talent for presenting complex ideas in a clear and accessible way.
After studying at Harvard University, he obtained his doctorate from Columbia University in 1991. Tyson went to work for Hayden Planetarium in 1996 before becoming its director.
