William Edward Deming (1900 - 1993) was an American mathematician. William Edward Deming was a well-known quality management strategy that fights for the continued development of organizations. The origins of his work are found in the Japanese manufacturing industry. There he learned about the management principles of statistical control (SPC), the forerunner of Total Quality Management (TQM). This is also why William Edward Deming is regarded as the most powerful non-Japanese in the Japanese manufacturing sector. He is also a proponent of the popular version of the Plan-Do-Check-Act with his 14 points to the Manager.
