Coach

The current President and Miami HEAT Head Coach, Pat Riley is a six-time National Basketball Association coach, and the only Head Coach in NBA history to hold the Coach of the Year honoring three different teams: the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knick, and Miami HEAT. Coach Riley has reached the 1000th victory field faster than any other Coach or Manager in the 4 major North American sports events. He currently stands as a full-time leader in this regular season with a postseason victory over all the Lakers and HeAT. While still the second basketball coach, Pat Riley held the title "America's Greatest Spokesman" and was rated by Success Magazine as "the best in his field." It's a debilitating race that you know how to enjoy. His philosophy is based on winning, leading, directing, changing, and growing and understanding and controlling the power of the changing team - any team, be it a small company, a large company, a city or a team of athletes. Pat Riley's "Showtime" and "The Winner Inside" books have appeared on New York Times Best sellers' lists.

QUOTES BY Pat Riley

"I've seen a lot of plays like that. I coached Magic Johnson."

"I also believe Odom would complement Eddie Jones and Brian Grant, our two veteran leaders. As I have said before, we are committed to winning and will do whatever it takes to give our fans talented players and a great team."

"The upside is there could be absolute power dominance inside. But the downside is somebody could say, 'OK, you're going to go big, I'm going to go with five guards -- one shooting center and four guards.' And then who's going to beat who first?"

"I can't judge by practice, because he doesn't practice."

"You can't worry about it. You are going to see it. They have got to deal with teams that are committed to shutting them down. You have got to get stronger against it."

"I think you're going to see that kind of series."

"Shaq is very active and motivated right now. There's a lot that's been written of his philosophy for the regular season. He really wants it, and he really wants the ball too."

"Shaq did a great job tonight. We have to make sure he's not in foul trouble and constantly look to go to him."

"You've got to have all your weapons against that team."
