Athlete
One of the most popular athletes in the 1970s, Bruce Jenner was born on October 28, 1949, in Mount Kisco, New York. Jenner had dyslexia and fought in school at an early age, but she excelled in sports. An injury in college has forced her to give up football and turn around and follow tracks. Her coach encouraged her to train to celebrate the Olympics, and in 1972, Jenner placed third in the Olympic and tenth in the Munich Games. At the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Jenner won a gold medal and broke the world record, scoring 8 734 points in the decathlon. In recent years, Jenner has appeared with her family on the popular sign The Keeping With the Kardashians and later revealed in an interview with Diane Sawyer that she is transgender and identifies as a woman. In June 2015, Jenner announced on Twitter that she was a woman, now known as Caitlyn.
