Athlete. Born Vincent Edward "Bo" Jackson on November 30, 1962, in Bessemer, Alabama. Jackson became famous as a talented athlete, who excelled in baseball, soccer and was followed at a young age. Re-employed by the Yankees of New York before leaving high school, Jackson decided instead to go to Auburn University. At school, he led his baseball team to victory; became MVP and Sugar Bowl champion; and qualified for the US Olympic team in line and field.
