Gerard Pique is a Spanish footballer who was part of the teams that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2012. He plays for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team and is one of four players who must have won the UEFA Champions League for two consecutive years. the others are Marcel Desailly, Paul Sousa and Samuel Eto'o. He had a passion for football from a young age and began his youth career in 1997 when he joined the FC Barcelona academy at the age of ten. Strong, focused and talented, he quickly matured into a young player who showed great potential as a future football star. Over time he went through various stages of youth and was particularly talented to adapt to different positions on the field.
