Marat Safin

Politician
The men’s elite tennis community is often amazed at the natural talent, Marat Safin was brought to court. With a 6-foot-4, the power-built Russians can do it all - massive explosions, defeating handsome backhand winners from anywhere in the court, net control, and game-by-game control. When, at the age of 20, Safin beat Pete Sampras directly to win the 2000 US Open, Sampras called Safin "a future tennis player."
