Pro golfer Tiger Woods won the U.S. Masters. Augusta in 1997 with a record score of 21 years, making him the youngest man and the first African American to receive the title. Woods won 13 more majors and was named PGA Player of the Year 10 times in the next 12 years, but struggled to regain his form after suffering in 2009. By winning the 2019 Masters, Woods claimed his own title for nearly 11 years, and went on to record Sam Snead's record of 82 PGA Tour wins later that year.
