Ja Rule is considered one of the most successful singers in the U.S. He has a musical style that combines hard core rap with heavy instruments and pop rhythms, thus making music that is not only unique, but also has a global appeal. Raised in a strict religious household by a single mother, Ja Rule struggled for years to find his own religion - now he still professes to be spiritual but does not like religion.
