In addition to being the director of the film, he has been a producer, a writer and one of its actors. Although his second film 'Mallrats' failed in the box office, the success of his third film 'Chasing Army' compensated for the financial loss he suffered after the release of 'Mallrats'. He received death threats in his next film 'Dogma' about the problems of the Christian Church and the Catholic faith. The sequel to his famous film 'Clerks' was dubbed 'Clerks II' and earned him much respect. He also left a mark on television.
