Lecrae Devaughn Moore, or simply Lecrae, is an American Christian rapper, songwriter, and record producer who performs as a solo artist and as a band leader named '612 Clique '. He had a bad start in life but all that changed after he found his faith at the age of 19. Influenced by 2Pac Shakur, and motivated by his newfound faith, he found himself in the music business. He and his friend Ben Washer set up their own record label 'Reach Records', and released his debut album 'Real Talk' in 2004. In the years that followed he released six albums, three mixing tapes, and two EPs as a solo artist and three studio albums, one remix album, and one EP with his band. He has won six 'GMA Dove Awards', two Grammys, two 'BET Awards' and more. Lecrae was active in the community and in 2005, launched 'ReachLife Ministries', the mission was to "close the gap between biblical truth and the context of the city". He is a supporter of the voice of conservation and believes that childhood should be regarded as something appropriate to include among American men. He has written numerous articles on racial relations in modern America published in the 'Boardboard'.
