Louis Armstrong, nicknamed "Satchmo," "Pops" and, later, "Ambassador Satch," was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. As an almighty man, he came to prominence in the 1920s, influencing many music lovers with his bold trumpet style and unique vocals.
Armstrong's stage presence not only entertains the jazz world but also all popular music. He recorded several songs throughout his career, including himself known for songs such as "Star Dust," "La Vie En Rose" and "What a Wonder World."
