I believe you make your own luck. My motto is 'It's always a mistake not to go.'

It is, I believe, the greatest generation any society has ever produced.

“You have to believe in yourself. ”

“All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”

"Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you're right"

Believe you can and you’re halfway there.

Be faithful to that which exists within yourself.

I believe that anybody can think himself into his goal if he mixes thought with definiteness of purpose, persistence; and a burning desire for its translation into reality.

I don’t believe in pure luck. You have to create your own luck. You have to be aware of the opportunities around you and take advantage of them.

“Leaders are not born; I believe they are made.”

I will never prostitute myself in any way that I do what I don’t believe in.

I don’t believe in system, nor in method. And without system, without method, what’s to teach?

“Singing and giving thanks may not seem like the thing to do in times of trouble, but believe me, it is exactly what we need to do.”

“Regardless of how hard we try, none of us will ever be completely perfect in this life, but not being perfect at everything we do does not mean we have no worth or value. You are special—unique—and that means there is only one like you, imperfections and all. Please remember that you don’t have to be like someone else to be acceptable. The world’s standards are not God’s. The world may say you need to be like this person or that person, but God’s will is for you to be yourself. Jesus is our standard, not any other person. If you are going to seek to be like anyone, let it be Jesus Himself. He is our righteousness, so believe and embrace the righteousness He gives you. You’ll become what you believe.”

“I believe confidence is all about being positive concerning what you can do -- and not worrying over what you can't do. A confident person is open to learning, because she knows that her confidence allows her to walk through life's doorways, eager to discover what waits on the other side. She knows that every new unknown is a chance to learn more about herself and unleash her abilities.”

In God's economy, we believe first and then see.”

“Be it unto you, even as you believe.

“Put your expectations on God, not on people.”

A man of real purpose puts his faith in himself always. Sometimes he refuses even to put his faith in the gods. So from time to time, he falls into error.

“…she did not believe that the world was a vale of tears but rather a joke that God had played and that it was idiotic to take it seriously if He himself never had.”

“I write, she wrote, that memory is fragile and the space of a single life is brief, passing so quickly that we never get a chance to see the relationship between events; we cannot gauge the consequences of our acts, and we believe in the fiction of past, present, and future, but it may also be true that everything happens simultaneously.”

The grace of God is courtesy.

“Miracles only happen if you believe in miracles.”

“You are what you believe yourself to be.”
