Doctors can heal the body, but it is music that uplifts the spirit.

Moderns have not the moral courage, as a rule, to avow the sincere spiritual bias behind their fads; they become insincere even about their sincerity. Most modern liberality consists of finding irreligious excuses for religious bigotry. The earlier type of bigot pretended to be more religious than he really was. The later type pretends to be less religious than he really is. He does not wear a mask of piety, but rather a mask of impiety 

“If you find no one to support you on the spiritual path, walk alone. There is no companionship with the immature.”

“However many holy words you read, However many you speak, What good will they do you If you do not act on upon them?”

Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.

Stay in the spiritual fire. Let it cook you.

To become spiritual, you must die to self, and come alive in the Lord. Only then will the mysteries of God fall from your lips. To die to self through self-discipline causes suffering but brings you everlasting life.

My words are like a ship, and the sea is their meaning. Come to me and I will take you to the depths of spirit. I will meet you there.

Respond to every call that excites your spirit.

If we are to go forward, we must go back and rediscover those precious values – that all reality hinges on moral foundations and that all reality has spiritual control.

The richer we have become materially, the poorer we become morally and spiritually. We have learned to fly in the air like birds and swim in the sea like fish, but we have not learned the simple art of living together as brothers.

Take care of your inner, spiritual beauty. That will reflect in your face.

A spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe, a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.

On a spiritual level, it's as though with my sighted eye I see what's before me, and with my unsighted eye I see what's hidden. It's illuminated life more than darkened it.
