Jasmine Warga

Jasmine Warga is a writer from Cincinnati, Ohio who currently lives in the Chicago area. She is a John Newbery Honor Award-winning author of Other Words For Home, also awarded with Walter Honor, Charlotte Huck Honor, and the Lee Bennet Hopkins Poetry Prize Honor. In addition, she is the author of The Older Novels, My Heart and Other Black Holes and here It Is. Her books have been published in more than twenty-five countries and have been named in numerous scholarship lists. Jasmine lives in a house full of books with her husband, two young daughters, a barking dog and a vicious cat.
