Actress and actress Phyllis Diller was first recognized as a playwright in Groucho Marx's play, and went on to become a successful actress, actor and writer, known for her blonde dresses, lace-up makeup and trademark. In 1992, she received the American Comedy Award for Lifetime Achievement. Diller was also a pianist and writer.
