Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, was an author and illustrator who published more than 60 books. He published his first children's book, Thinking I Saw It on Mulberry Street, under the name of Dr. Seuss in 1937. Next came a string of vendors, including The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. His songs and characters are loved by generations of fans.
