Comedian and film actor Groucho Marx was one of Marx's colleagues. The Marx Brothers came to the fore in 1914, as Glcho's fast-paced speeches overwhelmed the crowds. By the 1920s, the Marx Brothers had become a popular theater. They made films before splitting up in 1949, during which time Groucho worked alone in radio and television. He once described his jokes as "the kind of humor that made people laugh."
