James Grover Thurber was a well-known American writer, journalist and illustrator known for his short stories full of magical thoughts and images. His writing had a humorous quality in it, conveyed in a simple and sharp way, which made him very popular in the literary field. Thurber developed his writing skills as a young man. As a result of the accident, he lost his sight and was unable to do any physical work. This proved to be an inspiration for his writing career and his talent as he was fully relieved when he joined The New Yorker magazine in the capacity of editor, with the praise of his friend and co-assistant, E. White. White was the one who saw his painting talent and published some of his paintings in magazines, which is well received by readers. Thurber has written tons of short stories, lifelong memories, myths, etc. In the course of his life, a contrast to his work published by The New Yorker.
