“Fear less. Do more. Get outside and get after it.”

“Strike fear or get struck.”

“Whether out of inertia or selfishness, whether out of fear or a simple lack of moral imagination, we so often spend our lives as if in a fog, accepting injustice, rationalizing inequity, tolerating the intolerable”

"Your fears are a kind of prison that confines you within a limited range of action. The less you fear, the more power you will have and the more fully you will live."

“There are times when fear is good. It must keep its watchful place at the heart's controls. There is advantage in the wisdom won from pain.”

“Excessive fear is always powerless.”

“My heart's a dance of fear.”

“Fear is stronger than arms.”

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.

You must never be fearful of what you are doing when it is right

Have no fear of perfection; you’ll never reach it.

If you’re afraid to fail, then you’re probably going to fail.

I have self-doubt. I have insecurity. I have fear of failure. I have nights when I show up at the arena and I'm like, 'My back hurts, my feet hurt, my knees hurt. I don't have it. I just want to chill.' We all have self-doubt. You don't deny it, but you also don't capitulate to it. You embrace it.

“Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.”

“I know fear is an obstacle for some people, but it is an illusion to me. Failure always made me try harder the next time.”

“…jingoism, racism, fear, religious fundamentalism: these are the ways of appealing to people if you’re trying to organize a mass base of support for policies that are really intended to crush them.”

“For to fear death, my friends, is only to think ourselves wise without really being wise, for it is to think that we know what we do not know. For no one knows whether death may not be the greatest good that can happen to man.”

“From the body of one guilty deed a thousand ghostly fears and haunting thoughts proceed.”

When you walk into a doctor's office, you've got to have the same attitude you would about anything else. You've got to ask tough questions, and you've got to not be afraid to challenge their credentials.

In time we hate that which we often fear.

If you shall be afraid not because you must some time cease to live, but if you shall fear never to have begun to live according to nature – then you will be a man worthy of the universe that has produced you, and you will cease to be a stranger in your native land.

What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.

Fear has two meaning; ‘Forget Everything And Run’ or ‘Face Everything And Rise.’ The choice is yours.

There is fear and insecurity in pride, for when one aims at being highly esteemed, and having achieved such status, he is automatically involved in the fear of losing one’s status.
