What can't be cured must be endured.

The flesh endures the storms of the present alone; the mind, those of the past and future as well as the present. Gluttony is a lust of the mind.

It is necessary for him who would endure existence with patience that he should conceive himself to be something - that he should be persuaded he is not a cipher in the muster-roll of man.

It is the writer's privilege to help man endure by lifting his heart.

What can't be helped must be endured.

What is really important is to educate people how to protect themselves and how to ensure that, despite their poverty, they can get tested and access drugs. So I just hope that those who can will make those drugs available.

"Sometimes a legend that endures for centuries... endures for a reason."

"The endearing elegance of female friendship."

"Idleness and timidity often despair without being overcome, and forbear attempts for fear of being defeated; and we may promote the invigoration of faint endeavors, by showing what has already been performed"

"When any anxiety or gloom of the mind takes hold of you, make it a rule not to publish it by complaining; but exert yourselves to hide it, and by endeavoring to hide it you drive it away."

"Out of suffering comes the serious mind; out of salvation, the grateful heart; out of endurance, fortitude; out of deliverance faith."

"Endurance is nobler than strength and patience than beauty."

“Passion is momentary; love is enduring.”

We ascribe beauty to that which is simple; which has no superfluous parts; which exactly answers its end. […] It is the most enduring quality, and the most ascending quality.

Great loves too must be endured.

“Most modern freedom is at root fear. It is not so much that we are too bold to endure rules; it is rather that we are too timid to endure responsibilities.”

Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but it is to the one who endures that the final victory comes.
