You have to do things for yourself, not for anybody else.

Googling yourself is maybe one of the worst things you can do. I did it once, and someone had to talk me off a ledge.

If you make a fool of yourself, you can do it with dignity, without taking your pants down. And if you do take your pants down, you can still do it with dignity.

Mark to yourself the gradual way in which you have been prepared for, and are now led by an irresistible necessity to enter upon your great labour.

Three in the morning. Making yourself a cup of coffee in the dark, using a flashlight when you pour the boiling water.

Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure that you are not, in fact, just surrounded by assholes.

The reason you will not say it is, when you say it, even to yourself, you will know it is true.

Don't bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.

You have to know yourself, and that once you know yourself, then you cannot be bound by - because sometimes we are bound by other people's thoughts, because we are not sure about ourselves. But once you know yourself... I guess it is really an expression of the biblical statements that the truth will make you free! When you know, then you are free, your mind is free.

They take away your shoelaces and your belt so you can’t kill yourself no matter how bad it is. I guess making you live is part of the punishment.

If you don't know where you are going, you'll end up someplace else.

And remember, nobody's feelings are more important than your own, so take time to love yourself.

What doesn't feel okay to me, what feels a little bit out of balance, is when you want to turn yourself into something else - when you want to be another person.

You must be independent and able to do for yourself. Then you do not have to marry a rich man; you can marry a poor one. And if it is wrong, you can go.

The more room you give yourself to express your true thoughts and feelings, the more room there is for your wisdom to emerge.

“You yourself may not be luminous, but you are a conductor of light.”

“Look and see which way the wind blows before you commit yourself.”

“Never complain of that of which it is at all times in your power to rid yourself.”

“The first thing you have to know is yourself. A man who knows himself can step outside himself and watch his own reactions like an observer.”

“You are more than yourself, but do All of You know’s that”

“Don't you dare give up.”

“3 months from now, you will thank yourself."

"I prepare my portrait for my woman to hang on a wall when I die. she says: Is there a wall to hang it on? I say: We'll build a room for it. Where? In any house."

"And if happiness should surprise you again, do not mention its previous betrayal. Enter into the happiness, and burst."
